This photo displays all of the books I have authored, edited, or contributed chapters to over a publishing career of more than fifty years. The Journal of Ecumenical Studies (Summer 1970) includes the first article I ever had professionally published: “Berdyaev, Orthodoxy, and the Theology of Hope.” Several hundred other journal, dictionary, and encyclopedia articles followed.

The big book, Christian Liturgy: Catholic and Evangelical (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 1997), is considered my magnum opus at 805 pages. It is among the 15 books I have authored.

Here are most of the books published since the big one.

A Stewardship of the Mysteries (New York/Mahwah, NJ: Paulist Press, 1999).

Introduction to Christian Liturgy (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 2012).
